I use paint to map the heavy footprint humans leave on the planet. My practice is an investigation, exploring how humanity permanently reshapes the world around us through relationships and objects. By mixing traditional acrylic and oil paints with everyday materials like fabric, plaster, and felt, I create tactile surfaces that mirror the physical impact of human presence. The paint and colors express emotional connection, with the form showing the tactile impact.

I am fascinated by the threads that tie us to what we consume and discard, examining how the objects we create eventually come to define who we are.Through heavily textured layers, I play with the concept of past and present, creating a physical impact on the canvas. The plaster seals elements in time, while the paint allows for fluid movement, creating a tension between permanence and decay. This dynamic allows me to investigate the emotional connectedness between people and objects. Ultimately, my pieces ask the viewer to confront what we choose to hold onto and the marks left behind by us and the objects.
